The entire unit mainly consists of a screw compressor, asynchronous drive motor, intake valve assembly, oil-air separation system, oil circulation system, cooling system, three-filter consumables, and electrical control system. The motor speed remains constant and does not change with the on-site air consumption. During operation, when the pipeline pressure drops to the set lower limit, the intake valve opens, entering the loading state, and the compressor head compresses air normally, gradually increasing the pressure. When the pressure reaches the set upper limit, the intake valve closes, entering the unloading state, and the compressor head stops producing air, but the motor continues to run at full speed. After the pressure drops, the loading process restarts, and the cycle repeats to maintain the pipeline pressure.
The industrial frequency screw air compressor has a mature structure, eliminates the need for a frequency converter, resulting in lower overall procurement costs. Its electrical system is simple and reliable, making maintenance convenient. It is highly adaptable to varying voltage, dust, and humidity conditions. Under continuous full-load operation, the unit maintains stable efficiency. Disadvantages include high no-load power consumption during unloading, leading to energy waste during periods of high air consumption; significant fluctuations in pipeline pressure; a high starting current due to direct start-up, which can impact the power grid; and accelerated wear on valves such as the intake valve due to frequent loading and unloading.
Maintenance primarily involves regularly replacing the air filter, oil filter, oil-gas separator core, and screw-specific lubricating oil. Ensuring proper cooling of the compressor head and dust protection is also crucial. Electrical maintenance is minimal. It is suitable for 24-hour continuous production with stable air flow and limited budgets; however, it is unsuitable for intermittent production or scenarios with fluctuating air consumption. The motor housing can be powder-coated before assembly; after assembly, the entire unit requires painting.
